Delete your account

You can delete your MedBit account and vault at any time from Profile → Delete account & vault in the app — this is the fastest option and takes effect immediately.

If you don't have the app installed, or can't access it, use the form below to request deletion instead. Because MedBit accounts are anonymous and tied only to a key that lives on your device — not a password we can verify on the web — we process these requests by hand rather than deleting instantly. We'll confirm by email once it's done.

Deleting your account removes your encrypted vault, any Cloud Backup on our servers, your alert contacts and check-in schedule, and your membership records. Vault content is end-to-end encrypted, so we can never read it — deleting it removes the opaque, encrypted copy itself.
